    The Community Online Resource Directory allows you to search for agencies and programs by county, category, agency or by keywords for the following counties: Coles, Clark, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Jasper, Moultrie and Shelby.

  • CommunityGlo Meal Program

    CommunityGlo is a free hot meal program dedicated to serving Knox County.

    Meals are served one night a week. There are no eligibility requirements to use the program to receive meals.

  • Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services (CCBYS)

    Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services (CCBYS) serves youth ages 11 to 17 who are involved in the legal system or at risk of crisis (homelessness, etc.). CCBY provides programs to help stabilize families and prevent or minimize involvement in the child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems. Anyone can request services for an eligible youth, including the youth.

    CCBY services include:

    • Assessments
    • Statewide 24/7 crisis intervention services
    • Juvenile justice system intervention services
    • Placement services for crisis youth – shelter, foster care, etc.

  • Cosmic Kids Yoga

    Yoga, mindfulness and relaxation designed specially for kids ages 3 and older.

  • COVID-19 Accessible Resources for People with Disabilities Microsite

    The Georgia Tech Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation’s COVID-19 Accessible Resources microsite provides accessible messages of critical health importance about COVID-19 to people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers.

    The target audiences for translations of COVID-19 guidance are individuals who have limited mobility or are blind, deaf or have limited literacy skills resulting from a variety of factors. The alternative formats include simplified text documents, videos in American Sign Language (ASL) and both digital and embossed braille.

  • COVID-19 Parenting Tip Sheets and Activities

    Parenting for Lifelong Health has developed open-access online parenting resources to support families during COVID-19. Their Parenting Tip Sheets are available in 100-plus languages and provide useful reminders, suggestions, strategies and activities to help caregivers support themselves, their children and their families.

  • COVID-19 Preparedness Tool for Families and Caregivers

    The Stanford Health Literacy Lab in collaboration with families and providers developed the COVID-19 Preparedness Tool for Families and Caregivers to help families of children with special healthcare needs with rpreparing for and responding to COVID-19 in a variety of settings.

    The user-friendly tool, also available in Spanish, provides tips for home, healthcare settings, schools and work. It also offers advice for coping with family stress.

    This Family Voices Resources eBlast shares resources for self-care and asks us to consider what happens if we get sick, with related types of emergency planning to consider in order to be prepared.

    The Illinois Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission developed the Communication Card to provide individuals with hearing loss a simple way to inform others of their communication needs and list the name and contact information of their preferred communication provider.  You can create your very own personalized Communication Card on their website.
