Health Fair for the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Communities in Chicago
Free health fair for the Deaf, Deafblind, and hard-of-hearing communities featuring hearing screenings, workshops and more to promote a healthy you!
Join the Chicago Hearing Society (CHS) for the second annual “Community Health Fair for Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing Communities” on May 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the CHS office in Chicago.
This family-focused event brings activities focused on physical, mental and financial well-being to community members who are Deaf, Deafblind, or hard of hearing throughout Chicagoland.
Activities and resources will include:
- Basic health and checkup information
- Wellness tools for families and individuals
- Representatives from a variety of agencies to answer your questions
- Workshops and yoga on the rooftop
- Preventive care information, hearing screenings and blood pressure checks
- Community resources and referrals
All activities will be fully accessible in English, American Sign Language (ASL) and captions.
The fair is free for all attendees.
