Who We Are
The Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) provides free care coordination for families of children and youth with special healthcare needs in Illinois.
But there are also many other ways to tell our story as a division of the University of Illinois Chicago.
Throughout our 85-year history, we’ve adapted and evolved to meet the changing needs of the families we serve.
We continually build partnerships and develop best practices for youth with special healthcare needs and their families. We are also a diverse team of professionals from various healthcare and human service backgrounds. We use this expertise and knowledge to support families and connect them with the right services and resources.
We hope you’ll get to know us and that we can get to know you!
