DuPage County Health Dental Clinic
The Dental Health Program at the DuPage County Health Department provides access to dental services and oral health education for low-income residents of DuPage County. Dental treatment is not free. Patients must meet income guidelines and/or have active Medicaid. The clinic charges low-cost fees.

DuPage County Health Department
The DuPage County Health Department provides health services, resources, and information to residents of DuPage County. Programs include immunizations, vision and hearing screening, teen health programs, behavioral health services for children and adults, dental services and more. DuPage County Health Department services also include:

- Programs for parents and infants
- COVID-19 updates and vaccine information
- Opioid use prevention and substance abuse treatment programs
The Dysphagia Outreach Project is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance for individuals with swallowing disorders across the lifespan.
The Dysphagia Outreach Project’s Dysphagia Food Bank aims to provide tangible assistance to low-income individuals with dysphagia across the lifespan by providing access to thickeners, pre-modified foods, therapy tools, oral care supplies and adaptive equipment.
The Egyptian Public & Mental Health Department provides resources and support to Southern Illinois residents in Saline, Gallatin, White, and Wayne counties. The department provides public health and mental health services, prevention and recovery programs, education workshops, family case management services, food and water safety, and more.
The Egyptian Public & Mental Health Department has offices in Eldorado, Harrisburg (Saline County), Carmi (White County), and Shawneetown (Gallatin County).
eHomeCare Online Course on Caring for Children With Trachs
The eHomeCare program is a free online training program that aims to provide comprehensive information for those caring for children with a tracheostomy (trach) with/without a ventilator. The training is for:
- Nurses working in home-based environments
- Physicians
- Respiratory therapists
- Family members and caregivers of children with trachs with and without ventilators
The course is available until Sept. 30, 2026. Learners can use this course for initial training, an annual review or as an ongoing resource.
Endeavor Health Mobile Dental Clinic
Endeavor Health (formerly Northwest Community Healthcare) Mobile Dental Clinic offers family dental care for residents without access to a dentist due to financial barriers in Elk Grove, Palatine, Schaumburg or Wheeling Townships. Individuals must meet income guidelines and not have private dental insurance.
The clinic does not accept walk-ins. It may charge a copay for adult visits. Children’s services are free. To be eligible for services, patients must:
- Reside in Elk Grove, Palatine, Schaumburg or Wheeling Townships
- Undergone screening by their township before making an appointment
- Have an income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level or be on General Assistance or Medicaid
