“Stress Management: Weathering the Storm” in Harrisburg
Free stress management workshop providing tools, strategies and a supportive environment for understanding and managing chronic stress
Join Southeastern Illinois College, Illinois Extension and other workshop partners for “Stress Management: Weathering the Storm” on March 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Life moves fast. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by responsibilities, finances and a rapidly changing world. You need a plan to manage stress and stay healthy, for yourself and your loved ones.
Extension Educator Robin Ridgley will help participants identify and manage life stressors and the resources to use when feeling distressed.
Robin will discuss and take questions on:
- How to identify stress signs and symptoms
- Practical management tools and techniques to reduce the effects of unwanted stress
- Where to go for more help and resources
- How to make an action plan for managing stress
This free workshop is open to any community members seeking a supportive environment for understanding and managing stress.
