Join PKU of Illinois and Allied Disorders for its “Low Protein Annual Meeting” on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Check-in and breakfast will begin at 8:15 a.m.

Do you or someone you love live with PKU or an allied disorder (AD)?

Join the Low Protein Annual Meeting to learn about the latest PKU treatments, in-home monitoring systems, building community and more.

The meeting will take place at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont. Activities will include:

  • Learning about a new PKU oral therapy with keynote speaker Dr. Fernanda Leal-Pardinas, global clinical development lead for rare and metabolic disorders at Otsuka Pharmaceutical
  • Exploring the latest home monitoring systems and vendor presentations from representatives from PKU, Homocystinuria, Propionic Acidemia and other organizations
  • Announcing the scholarship winners
  • Participating in children’s programming for ages 5 and up

Participants can also enjoy breakfast and lunch with low-protein options.

The event is free for people with PKU or an AD. General attendee tickets are $25 per person.
