“Get Ready to Open an IL ABLE Account” for Individuals With a Disability
A free webinar to learn about opening an IL ABLE account and how it can be a savings tool for individuals with a disability
Illinois ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) will host “Get Ready to Open an IL ABLE Account” on July 22 from 12 to 1 p.m.
If you or someone you care for has a disability, join the IL ABLE team to learn:
- Who is eligible to own an IL ABLE account
- Who can open an account
- How an IL ABLE account can be a savings tool for individuals with a disability
- How individuals receiving public benefits such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid benefits can build assets with an IL ABLE Account
- How IL ABLE accounts work alongside other financial tools, such as special needs trusts and retirement accounts
The webinar is free. People with disabilities and anyone who supports them are welcome and encouraged to attend.
