2026 Transition Fair for Students with Disabilities in Springfield

Join the Sangamon County Transition Planning Committee (TPC) for the 2026 Transition Fair on April 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Erin’s Pavilion in Southwind Park in Springfield.
This event is for students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 plan or a documented disability.
Students and their families can explore and plan for a successful future:
- Learning about a wide variety of resources and options after high school
- Speaking with exhibitors and asking questions
- Checking out independent and supported living options
- Talking with representatives from colleges, vocational programs and more!
Be sure to stop by the Division of Specialized Care for Children’s booth with your questions. Our team will be happy to answer questions about our programs and provide copies of our Transition Toolkit and other resources to help you plan your future.
The event is free and open to all area students with disabilities and their families.
