2026 #RAREis Scholarship Fund Deadline
Students with rare diseases, ages 17 and older, can apply through April 28 for the #RAREis Scholarship Fund award
The EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases‘ #RAREis Scholarship Fund is accepting applications until April 28, 2026.
The #RAREis Scholarship Fund helps people with rare diseases ages 17 and older with a variety of educational pursuits, regardless of treatment status.
Up to 58 recipients will receive a $5,000 award for the fall 2026 semester.
Applicants to the #RAREis Scholarship Fund must be:
- U.S. residents who have been diagnosed by a physician as having any form of rare disease, regardless of treatment status.
- Currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time or part-time in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical/trade school for the fall 2026 semester. There is no minimum amount of credit hours to be part-time (for example, one class is considered part-time).
- Ages 17 or older (no upper age limit).
Scholarship America administers the program. The sponsor determines eligibility for individual programs. Scholarship America’s evaluation team reviews eligible applications.
Awards are for accredited courses, including vocational-technical/trade school, undergraduate, graduate study and single classes verified under an accredited program.
Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Recipients can receive the award no more than four times.
