Webinar – “Charting the LifeCourse Monthly Lunch & Learn Series: Integrated Supports Star”
Learn about Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC), a practical, family-centered framework for planning across the lifespan, in this free webinar series
Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center will host part three of the Charting the LifeCourse Monthly Lunch & Learn Series “Integrated Supports Star” on March 19 from 12 to 12:45 p.m.
The 12-session virtual series will introduce Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC), a practical, family-centered framework for planning across the lifespan. Each month, families, youth, and professionals will explore one key CtLC tool or concept through:
- Short videos
- Guided discussion
- Examples of how families are using these tools to plan, connect and advocate for the life they want.
This session will explore the Integrated Supports Star. Guided discussion and applied activities will help participants learn how to use the tool to:
- Identify the five categories of supports
- Examine the risks of relying on a single type of support
- Map life domains for a student or young adult with a disability
- Identify gaps where additional supports can strengthen long-term quality of life
There will also be time to network, share ideas, and connect with others on similar journeys.
Anyone supporting students and young adults with disabilities is welcome to attend.
