iCan Bike Camp 2026 in East Moline
Children with disabilities can gain confidence and independence by learning to ride a bike in just one week!
Join the Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities for “iCan Bike Camp” from July 13 to 17. Riders will attend one 75-minute session each day.
Using adapted bicycles, spotters and an encouraging environment, this program turns “I can’t” into “I can!”
For five consecutive days, children and youth with disabilities ages 8 and older will learn to ride a two-wheel bicycle. Camp staff will adjust the bikes during the week to help riders learn to balance, gain important skills and discover the joy of riding.
Campers must have a disability and be at least 8 years old to participate. Other requirements include:
- Attending all five days of camp
- Having a minimum inseam of 20 inches
- Weighing less than 220 pounds
- Walking without assistive devices and being able to side-step to both sides
- Willing to wear a properly fitted helmet
Participants must also be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is willing and able to assist staff if disruptive or aggressive behavior occurs.
