Free monthly program providing support, information and help with making lasting changes for individuals living with prediabetes or diabetes
Join Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) for the “Healthy Horizons – Prediabetes and Diabetes Lifestyle Program” on Nov. 13 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the SIH Community Classroom in Carbondale. Classes rotate between Herrin and Carbondale. They take place on the second Thursday of every month.
Are you newly diagnosed with prediabetes or diabetes, or looking to improve your habits?
Healthy Horizons aims to help individuals living with prediabetes or diabetes make lasting changes.
Participants will explore new topics each month related to:
- Practical tips on diet and nutrition
- Exercising and physical activity
- Tools and strategies for managing blood sugar levels
Meet new friends and find the structure and support you need to thrive!
