  • Illinois Unidos – COVID-19 Resources for Latinx Families

    Illinois Unidos provides a collection of resources developed for and focusing on Latinx families to address:

    • Frequently asked questions regarding vaccinations and mitigation measures
    • Accessing health, economic and mental health community services
    • Stopping the growth of COVID-19
    • The devastating economic impact of COVID-19

    Illinois Unidos is a consortium of more than 150 Latino elected and appointed officials, health professionals and representatives of community-based organizations.

  • Illinois Warm Line

    If you or one of your family members has mental health and/or substance use challenges and would like to receive support by phone, call the Illinois Warm Line at (866) 359-7953.

    Wellness support specialists are professionals who have experienced mental health and/or substance use recovery in their own lives. They are trained in recovery support, mentoring and advocacy.

    The Illinois Warm Line is not a crisis hotline but is a source of support as you recover or help a family member to recover. Illinois Warm Line hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays.

  • In-Home COVID-19 Vaccinations and Boosters for Chicago and Suburban Cook County

    Residents of suburban Cook County and the city of Chicago can schedule in-home appointments for vaccination and booster shots. Flu shots may also be available.

    If you live in suburban Cook County, call (833) 308-1988. In-home vaccination and booster appointments will be scheduled for one to two weeks. You can also schedule transportation to a vaccine outside of your home by calling this number.

    If you live in the city of Chicago, call (312) 746-4835. In-home vaccination, booster and flu shot appointments are readily available to be scheduled. More details are on the In-Home COVID Vaccinations and Boosters flyer. The flyer is also available in Spanish.

  • Increasing Community Access to Testing (ICATT) for COVID-19

    The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Increasing Community Access to Testing (ICATT) testing locator can help you find no-cost COVID-19 testing locations and contact information for the providers.

    Every provider handles appointments differently. Please be sure to schedule your appointment directly with the provider you choose.
