Mental Health Resources for Kids, Teens and Young Adults
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has resources geared toward kids, teens and young adults. NAMI also provides a coloring and activity book and step-by-step guidance to help parents explore and talk to children about emotional topics or mental health challenges.Mid Central Community Action (MCCA) provides support, advocacy, and education for individuals and families in McLean and Livingston Counties. MCCA works to eliminate domestic violence, combat homelessness, and create a community hub for financial stability.
The free Mobile Rx Pantry Program in Freeport distributes healthy produce, milk, eggs, and frozen and canned meats to participants who may be experiencing food insecurity.
The district is providing meals for their students, as long as you have an enrolled child, along with breakfast and lunch for any siblings that are 1 yr old or older.
Mother McAuley High School Summer Meals
We are excited to announce our pick up points for the Summer Food Service Program. Free meals are available to all children and young adults under 18 years old. Children need not be present at pick up, nor do they need to attend the school where pick up is made. There is a maximum of five meals per car.

Monday-Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.Northern Illinois Food Bank has launched My Pantry Express, an online source for groceries. The program allows families in need of food assistance to choose specific grocery items and pick them up at a preferred participating location.
Pickup locations are available in the following counties: DeKalb, DuPage, Lake, Will, Winnebago.

National Child Traumatic Stress Network Resources for Parents and Caregivers
The National Child Traumatic Stress Network provides a variety of resources for parents, caregivers and youth related to different types of childhood trauma, including coping with hard times, grief, hospitalizations and more.
Resources are available in English and Spanish.
