Lifespan Disability Clinic in Chicago
UI Health’s Lifespan Disability Clinic provides one-stop, comprehensive primary care for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Lifespan Disability Clinic is a welcoming space that aims to collaborate with each individual to achieve their personal goals, such as obtaining appropriate accommodations, coordinating care and supporting the transition to adulthood.
The Lifespan Disability Clinic has two locations. Services include:
- Primary care (routine health exams)
- Support for the transition to adulthood
- Care coordination
- Education and resources

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible low-income households pay for home energy services (primarily heating during winter months).
Illinois residents with a household income that does not exceed an amount determined annually by the Department of Commerce are eligible. The program determines annual eligibility levels based on available funding and may not exceed 200 percent of the federal nonfarm poverty level.

Low Income Household Water Assistance (LIHWAP) – DuPage County
The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) is a one-time water and wastewater payment assistance program to help households that are facing the threat of disconnection, have already been disconnected or have past due balances over $250 for their water and wastewater services combined. Customers may apply one time for water and one time for wastewater for the life of the program, which is Feb. 1, 2022 – Aug. 31, 2023.
DuPage County applications are taken by appointment only by calling (630) 407-6500 or emailing CSprograms@dupageco.org.
McLean County District Unit 5 Meal Distribution
Providing grab-and-go breakfast and lunch.
Meal Distribution for Bloomington School District 87 Students
District 87 will provide grab-and-go meals to any student in need at several locations in the community using school buses.
Menard County Housing Authority – Housing Choice Voucher Program
The Menard County Housing Authority will begin accepting pre-applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Tenant-Based Vouchers).
The letter waitlist will open Feb. 15 and close at 3 p.m. on March 1, 2021.
The areas covered include the following counties: Alexander; Bond; Casey, IL; Clinton; Coles; Crawford; Douglas; Fayette; Jackson; Jasper; Livingston; Macoupin; Massac; Menard; Monroe; Moultrie; Perry, Pulaski; Randolph; Scott and Wabash.

Mental Health Online Screening
One of the quickest and easiest ways to determine whether you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition is to take a mental health screening at mhascreening.org. The screening is free and anonymous.
Taking a screen can help you to better understand what you are experiencing and get helpful resources. After that, consider talking to someone you trust about your results and seek out a professional to find the support you need.
