    No terminations because of inability to pay and no late fee charges due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, keeping public Wi-Fi hotspots open for any American who needs them.

  • Xfinity Wi-Fi

    Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots in out-of-home locations are available for free to anyone who needs them, including non-Xfinity Internet customers, to keep communities connected with their friends and family during the pandemic. 

    Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots located both indoors and outdoors in places like shopping districts, parks, businesses and train stations are open. Hotspots located in customers’ homes are not opened to the public.

  • Helping Hands of Springfield

    Helping Hands of Springfield is a not-for-profit organization that provides homeless services to single adults 18 and older. It provides a shelter and supportive services that include individualized case management, advocacy and referrals, representative payee services and shower facilities. It also provides help to obtain prescriptions, identification services and employment assistance.

  • Electronic Portal for SSI Recipients

    The IRS has an electronic portal to assist people on SSI and other non-filers in receiving their stimulus payments.  Individuals can go to the portal, enter their personal information and that information will be utilized to send them a stimulus payment.
