YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago Family Camp Pinewood
Summer camping opportunities for families to share new experiences, spend quality time together and create lasting memories
YMCA Chicago Family Camps offer a variety of options for having fun, discovering the great outdoors and making memories together.
YMCA Family Camp Pinewood offers family sessions throughout the summer on:
- May 24 to 27 – Memorial Day Family Camp (three nights)
- May 31 to July 28 – Weekend Stays (two nights)
- June 16 to Aug. 9 – Weeklong Stays (five nights)
- TBD – Labor Day Family Camp (three nights)
Your family can enjoy:
- Exploring the beauty of the Manistee National Forest
- Swimming and boating in the lake
- Hitting your mark at archery or on the slingshot range
- Playing group games in the ball field
- Eating s’mores and telling tales around the campfire
- Participating in arts and crafts, a talent show and more!
The camp serves meals buffet-style in Butler Lodge. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available.

A $150 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Full payment is due seven days before your arrival date. Financial assistance may be available for eligible families.
