A free webinar on voting, how to register and what to expect at the polling place for people with disabilities in Illinois
The Arc of Illinois‘ Family-to-Family Health Information Center and Illinois Life Span Program (ILS) will host “Voting for People with Disabilities” on Zoom on Jan 13 from 12 to 1 p.m.
The year 2026 is an election year in Illinois.
Learn about the voting process and preparing for the election from the perspective of people with disabilities with the Going Home Coalition’s Director Rio Goodwin Perez and Senior Community Mobilization Manager Jennifer Thibodeaux Sands.
Rio and Jennifer will cover:
- Voter rights
- The voter registration process
- What to expect at the polling place
The webinar is free. It is open to anyone who would like to learn more about Illinois’ voting process for people with disabilities.
