Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center will host “Volunteering, A Great Way to Start” on July 31 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Volunteering can be a great way to give back to the community. It’s also a great way for youth with disabilities to learn and practice vocational skills.
Join this discussion on how you can use volunteering for:
- Designing transition plans for students
- Building vocational skills
- Practicing important skills
- Creating positive results for students and the community
This webinar is designed for self-advocates ages 13 to 22, their parents and caregivers, and other professionals.
