This training will explore the essential partnership and roles families and school teams play in ongoing behavior support.
Participants will learn about Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and cover other topics, including:
- What the assessment process looks like
- How meaningful data drives the development of an effective BIP
- What happens when the data doesn’t point to a BIP
- How to implement strategies with consistency
- Ways to monitor progress and fine-tune interventions over time
Participants will leave with Illinois-specific tools and resources to strengthen collaboration, improve communication and support confident advocacy.
