The Courageous Parents Network (CPN) will host “Supporting Your Family’s Wishes: The Value of Advance Directives and Preparing for Complex Medical Decisions” on March 24 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Join Advanced Conversations co-founders Fiona Sampey, PA-C, MMSc, and Amy Vance, MSN, NP-C, to explore healthcare advance directives and their importance. Fiona and Amy will cover:

  • Documenting healthcare wishes
  • Supporting your child’s/family’s goals and wishes
  • Discussing medical implications of and quality-of-life considerations
  • Understanding and making healthcare wishes clear before an emergent/urgent medical event

Fiona is a palliative care provider for patients with serious illnesses. She has specialized training in facilitating conversations around complex medical decision-making, end-of-life and how healthcare wishes impact quality-of-life considerations.

Amy is a family nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of experience. She is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through pivotal healthcare discussions focusing on their priorities, values and goals.
