Join the Bureau-Marshall-Putnam (BMP) Special Education Cooperative on Zoom for “Navigating the Transition to College: A Guide for Parents of Students with Special Needs” on Nov. 12 from 5 to 6 p.m.
The session is designed to help parents understand the transition from high school to college.
This workshop will provide parents with the knowledge and tools needed to support your student’s higher education journey, including:
- Key differences between high school and college
- Delivery of special education services in these environments
- Insights into the types of support available in college
- Advocating for students to ensure a smooth transition
