Free month-long webinar series to support caregivers of individuals with Down syndrome during National Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October
October is National Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
Join the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) for this month-long webinar series to support caregivers of individuals with Down syndrome. The series will cover a variety of important topics from Oct. 2 through Oct. 30 from 12 to 1 p.m.
The series will begin with “NDSS Caregiver Resources” on Oct. 2.
Learn about NDSS’ caregiving resources with Senior Manager of Education Programs Jessica Kuss and National Down Syndrome Society Programs Associate Charlotte Woodward.
NDSS has resources to support caregivers on topics including:
- Mental health
- Burnout
- Long-term planning
- Alzheimer’s disease and more
The series will equip parents, guardians and professional caregivers with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions for their loved ones.
