The early years of raising a child with a disability are often filled with anxiety, overwhelming feelings and fear of the future.
Gain insight into navigating life’s most challenging seasons with Amanda Griffith-Atkins. Amanda is a therapist, speaker, founder of Amanda Atkins Counseling Group in Chicago and the author of “How to Handle More Than You Can Handle.” Her workshop will help caregivers explore:
- Realistic self-care
- Coping with difficult emotions
- Finding steadiness in an unpredictable journey
Participants will leave this workshop with practical tools and encouragement to support both themselves and their families.
Amanda specializes in perinatal mental health, grief, trauma and supporting caregivers of children with disabilities.
