Webinar – “Digital Literacy Series: Internet Security”
A free webinar series to help individuals with disabilities, their families and support workers learn about having fun and staying safe on the internet
Join The Arc of Illinois for part two of its digital literacy series, “Internet Security,” on May 19. The webinar series is on Tuesdays through June 2, from 10 to 11 a.m.
This series is for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), their parents and support workers.
The internet can be a fun place to explore, but there are important steps you should take to be safe.
In this session, participants will:
- Learn why staying safe on the internet is important
- Practice ways to remain safe while having fun on the internet
The webinar series is free. The information is intended for individuals with IDD, but parents and support workers are highly encouraged to attend.
