Free webinar on the range of college options beyond high school for youth with intellectual disabilities and the resources to help transition-age youth build skills, explore programs and prepare for successful college participation
Join the RAISE Center – A SPAN Project for “Beyond High School: Inclusive Postsecondary Education Options and How Students Can Prepare” on Sept. 21 from 1 to 2 p.m.
Inclusive programs on college campuses across the nation are making college accessible to many students with intellectual disabilities.
Think College National Coordinating Center representatives, Clare Papay and Danie Roberts-Dahm, will discuss a wide range of options and strategies to build skills and prepare students for success.
They will cover topics including:
- An introduction to inclusive postsecondary education
- The range of college options beyond high school
- Resources and tools that support transition-age youth in building skills, exploring programs and preparing for successful college participation
The webinar is free. Anyone supporting transition-age students with intellectual disabilities is welcome to attend.
American Sign Language and Spanish interpretation will be available.
