A free webinar for caregivers and educators on using AI tools to help promote school success for youth with disabilities

The National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) will host “AI for Inclusion and Independence: Practical Tools for School” on Sept. 22 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Explore how educators and families can use artificial intelligence (AI) to personalize learning experiences and better respond to a student’s strengths, needs and interests.

Sean Smith, PhD, Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas, will discuss practical ways AI can help educators and families:

• Adapt instruction and develop learning supports
• Provide feedback
• Create opportunities for students to engage with their education more meaningfully
• Identify important considerations for the responsible and purposeful use of AI in K-12 education
