Webinar – “Access Living’s Summer Transition Fast Track Series Program”
Free hybrid youth program providing worksite and college option tours and hands-on independent living skills for Chicago resident with disabilities
Join the Family Resource Center on Disabilities and Access Living to learn about “The Summer Transition Fast Track Series Program” on June 18 from 12 to 1 p.m.
Access Living’s dynamic in-person youth program is designed to empower Chicago residents with disabilities.
All meetings will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Participants can join these summer meetings:
- In person on Tuesdays from July 9- Aug. 20
- Virtually on Wednesdays from July 10 -Aug. 21
Experienced mentors will lead all meetings. Meeting activities will include:
- Exploring future career paths through worksite and college tours
- Crafting a professional resume
- Mastering mock interviews
- Gaining valuable insights into disability awareness
- Enhancing independent living skills
The program is free. Participants must provide proof of disability (Individualized Education Program or 504 Plan) and school enrollment when they register.
