A free virtual lunchtime webinar series empowering families and professionals to explore critical topics, connect and create inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities
The 2025 Family Leaders Collaborative Conference will continue with “Purposeful Living: Making Community-Based Supports Work” on Feb. 24 from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Hosts for this four-part series are:
- The Illinois Deafblind Project
- Heart of Illinois Down Syndrome Association
- STAR NET
- Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center
- The Arc of Illinois‘ Illinois Life Span Program and Family-to-Family Health Information Center
Families and professionals will connect, learn and empower each other to create inclusive opportunities. Topics will include:
- Family support and education
- Accessing and using assistive technology
- Early childhood education
- Advocacy
