Virtual – “Family Voices Leadership Conference 2026” and Pre-Conference

Learn, network and gain skills to build strategic partnerships, strengthen family engagement and improve outcomes for families and the systems of care that serve them

Family Voices will host the “Family Voices Leadership Conference 2026 (FVLC2026)” on April 15 and 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  A pre-conference event will also run on April 13 and 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Do you want to learn, network and build skills to support family engagement in systems of care?

Join this 3D virtual conference experience for family leaders, youth with disabilities, and family engagement and health care professionals nationwide.

Each day of the conference will include a keynote session and twelve breakout session options. All sessions will have live Spanish interpretation.

Participants will explore topics, including:

• Building strategic partnerships between schools, nonprofits and community-based organizations to strengthen family engagement and improve outcomes for families.
• Strategies for elevating and sustaining family leadership across systems of care.
• Learning how to recruit, prepare and support family leaders at decision-making tables to transform collaboration into shared power—ensuring every family’s voice shapes the programs, policies, and systems designed to support them.
• Courageous Parents Network palliative care awareness resources for families and clinicians navigating medical complexity.
• Navigating the transition to adulthood and the vital role of a pediatric-adult transition health clinic in providing comprehensive services to youth with disabilities.

The conference will be in English and Spanish. Accessibility accommodations are available upon request. Conference materials may be made available in other languages besides English and Spanish.

Pre-conference tickets are $125 per day. Conference general attendee tickets are $350. Several discounts are available to Family Voices affiliates and family-led organization attendees.
