Join The Autism Program (TAP) at Easterseals for “Autism 101” on April 29 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
This event aims to build understanding, confidence and practical skills for supporting children with autism.
This session will provide a foundational overview of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), evidence-based approaches and real-world strategies you can use at home.
Participants will leave with valuable information and insights on:
- Recognizing key characteristics of ASD to support early identification and connect children to screening, diagnostic and treatment services
- Evidence-based interventions and practical strategies to use at home to support children with autism
- Accessing additional resources and supports to continue the journey beyond the session
The event is free. Parents, caregivers and professionals are welcome to attend.
