Advocate Children’s Hospital will host a virtual “Sibshops for Teens” meeting on Jan. 17 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Sibshops are a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental, health and mental health concerns.

Advocate Children’s Hospital Teen Sibshops offer peer support and fun educational activities for teens who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition.

Teens ages 12 and up will enjoy:

  • Games
  • Discussions with other siblings about their common experiences, joys, and concerns

This Sibshops session is free and will be on Zoom.
