Free virtual educational and activity based group for children ages 6 to 11 who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition

Advocate Children’s Hospital will host a virtual “Sibshops” on June 15 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Sibshops are a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental, health, and mental health concerns.

Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops offer peer support, and fun educational and activities for children who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition.

Siblings ages 6 to 11 will enjoy:

  • Fun activities
  • Games
  • Discussions with other siblings about their common experiences, joys, and concerns

Sibshops will meet on Zoom. The session is free.

See the Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops flyer for more details and an application.
