Transition Fair and Open House in Normal
Explore and learn at this free event for parents/caregivers of high school juniors and seniors with disabilities through age 22
The Transition Planning Committee for McLean, DeWitt and Logan Counties (TPC 14, Region 3) will host its Transition Fair and Open House on April 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Connect with local organizations and learn about area resources serving people with disabilities at this free, open-house-style event.
The event will feature more than 40 vendors offering information about their organizations.
Be sure to stop by the Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC)’s display. Our team can answer your questions about how DSCC helps families and give you a copy of our Transition Toolkit (the Transition Toolkit is also available in Spanish).
The open house will also include three breakout sessions:
- 10:30 to 11 a.m. – Heartland Community College Accommodations/HALO Program
- 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Financial Planning/ABLE accounts:
- 1:15 to 2 p.m. – Next Steps: A Panel Discussion of Recent Grads
