Touch-a-Truck and Free Spray Park Day in Westmont
Touch some big rigs and splash around at this free, hands-on community event perfect for all ages and abilities!
The Westmont Park District will host “Touch-a-Truck and Free Spray Park Day” on Aug. 30 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m in the Ty Warner Park east parking lot. A sensory-friendly hour will run from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Get up close with some of the biggest and coolest vehicles in town! Join this fun-filled, hands-on community event for all ages.
Kids (and kids at heart) can:
- Enjoy a noise-free sensory hour
- Explore and climb aboard fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment and service vehicles
- Ask questions
- Meet the people who operate the vehicles and keep our community moving
Don’t forget to bring your water gear! Families can also stop by the park district tent to pick up a free Spray Park pass to use after Touch-a-Truck.
The event is free. You do not need to register to attend.
