Touch a Device (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Event in East Peoria

A free event for caregivers and their children with developmental differences to hold, drop, try out and compare communication devices

Midwest Children’s Therapy in East Peoria will host a “Touch a Device” event on April 16 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Do you have a child who uses a device, or do you wonder whether a device might help your child?

With so many devices, software and apps available, choosing the right one can be difficult.  Join this event with Makenzie Buchanan and Emma Lane to see a wide selection of devices and take a “test drive.”

Children and their parents will spend time in the sensory gym moving and:

• Checking out a variety of devices
• Comparing device, software and app differences and features
• Trying out, holding, touching and dropping the many different devices

Children of all ages are welcome to attend.
