“Special Time With Santa” in Taylorville
Free sensory-friendly event with fun activities, snacks and time for families and their children with autism and other disabilities to meet with Santa
The Taylorville Park District will host a “Special Time With Santa” on Dec. 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Manners Park.
Ho! Ho! Ho! Are you looking for some holiday fun without all the hustle and bustle?
The “Special Time With Santa” event aims to help children with various sensory sensitivities and disabilities feel comfortable and welcome.
Families will enjoy:
- A quiet, dimly lit setting
- Fun activities
- Visiting with Santa
- Bouncing in “snowballs”
- Prizes and snacks
Be sure to bring your phone or camera to capture all the smiles! All activities will take place in the Manners Park Dining Hall.
The event is free. Space is limited.
