Special Needs Superheroes Event in Mount Vernon
A free event featuring a costume contest, hay rides, food and fun for children and adults with disabilities and their families
Superheroes will unite at Mount Vernon Baptist Temple’s “Special Needs Superheroes Event” on Oct. 5 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Dress as your favorite superhero and head to Mount Vernon for a day filled with fun!
Meet some of your favorite superheroes, participate in the costume contest and enjoy riding the hayride. Other free activities will include:
- Haircuts
- A petting zoo and horseback rides
- Face painting and games
- Brats, hamburgers, snow cones and popcorn
- Balloon tying with Rainbow the Clown
- Prizes and more
The event is free and open to children and adults with disabilities, and their family members and caregivers.
