Free webinar series for parents, caregivers and professionals exploring dispute resolution, partnering with your Individualized Education Program (IEP) team, mediation and more

Family Matters educational support coaches will cover conflict resolution options in the special education process. This four-part “Understanding Dispute Resolution” webinar series on Zoom will also feature guest speakers from Equip for Equality, the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission and the Illinois State Board of Education.

Emily Postelmans from the Illinois State Board of Education will provide an overview of:

• State-sponsored mediation
• Facilitated IEP meetings
• How to make requests
