Sibshops with UIUC in Champaign
A free opportunity to play, learn and hang out with other youths who have a sibling with a disability
Larkin’s Place at Stephens YMCA will host “Sibshops with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)” on April 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Sibshops is a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental, health and mental health concerns.
Sibshops with UIUC provides supportive and engaging in-person opportunities for children ages 5 to 13 with a sibling with a disability.
Participants will:
- Engage in fun, interactive activities
- Meet other kids who may be going through similar experiences
- Make friends
Sibshops is free.
