Sensory-Friendly Evening at the Zoo in Springfield
A free, sensory-friendly night at the zoo for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families
Join Autism Support of Central Illinois (ASCI) for “Sensory-Friendly Evening at Henson Robinson Zoo” on Sept. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m.
After the zoo closes to the general public, families will have the opportunity to enjoy the zoo in a calmer, more relaxed environment.
Enjoy a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals and families of all abilities and activities, including:
- Exploring the zoo at your own pace
- Discovering animal encounters throughout the evening
- Riding the train
The event is free. Space is limited. You must pre-register all family members who will be attending.
