Rockford Park District TR Teen Camp for Youth
Day camp featuring fun, friendship and field trips for teens with disabilities ages 11 to 22
The Rockford Park District Therapeutic Recreation team and Northlands Association for Special Recreation offer a wide variety of community-based, inclusive day camps, recreational opportunities and more!
Join the Rockford Park District Therapeutic Recreation program for “TR Teen Camp” from July to Aug. 5.
Weekly sessions will run Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day (please see the camp guide below for more dates and details):
- July 8-12
- July 15-19
- July 22-26
- July 29 to Aug. 2
- Aug. 5-9
TR Teen Camp is a fun and interactive day camp for teens ages 11 to 22. The camp will group teens by age to ensure everyone has a safe and successful summer.
Each week will offer a different theme and activities focusing on fun, building skills and exploring new experiences, including:
- Zumba
- Yoga
- Arts and crafts
- Going on field trips
- Group games and more!
The camp is $160 per week for residents/ $190 for non-residents.
