After-school musical theatre workshop for children ages 10 to 15 on the autism spectrum

Chicago Children’s Theatre (CCT) will host the Red Kite Workshop: Musical Theatre/Winter 2026 from Jan. 18 through March 15. Classes are on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This lively musical theatre workshop is for young people ages 10 to 15 on the autism spectrum.

Activities will help participants:

  • Build confidence in their singing voice
  • Learn basic dance steps and practice choreography
  • Identify and portray a variety of emotions

In the final workshop, participants will perform a mini musical theatre showcase right in their classroom!
