“Powerful Parents of Autism – Support, Education, Connection” Caregiver Event in Maywood

A free, in-person opportunity for caregivers of children with autism to find support, share and learn together

The Answer Inc. will host “Powerful Parents of Autism – Support, Education, Connection” on Oct. 17 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Proviso Area for Exceptional Children (PAEC) Therapeutic High School in Maywood.

The event is for parents and caregivers of children on the spectrum to share, learn and grow together.

Grief and Wellness Coach Leslie Maghett will help participants:

• Explore the silent and overlooked grief of having a child on the spectrum
• Connect with other caregivers
• Share and learn about resources

The event is free. Guests can also sign up for a chance to win a raffle prize.
