Parent and Student Resource Fair in Peoria
Free resource fair offering connections and information on employment and job skills, disability services, special programs, health services and more
Join the Special Education Association of Peoria County (SEAPCO) for the “Parent and Student Resource Fair” on Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Peoria County students with disabilities of all ages, their families, teachers and community members are welcome to attend.
Attendees can speak with representatives, ask questions and learn about the wide range of help and resources they offer, including:
- Disability services
- Help with transition and employment
- Education and training programs
- Health care
- Recreation opportunities
- Advocacy
- Benefits, financial assistance and more
Students in the SEAPCO classroom businesses will also sell items they’ve made. Items will include t-shirts, cookies, popcorn, handmade soaps, dog biscuits and more.
Our University of Illinois Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) team members will be there to explain how we help children and youth with special healthcare needs and their families. Please stop by our table!
