New Parent Café in Naperville for Caregivers of Young Children Needing a Low-Protein Diet
An opportunity for new parents to network with other families, registered dieticians and vendor representatives who support the PKU and allied disorder community
Phenylketonuria (PKU) Organization of Illinois & Allied Disorders will host the “New Parent Café” on March 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Naperville Alive Center.
Network and learn from other families with phenylketonuria (PKU) and other allied disorders.
Join fellow caregivers, registered dietitians and vendor representatives to discuss managing a low-protein diet.
Topics may include:
- Breast and bottle feeding
- Weaning and solid foods
- Picky toddlers
- Childcare and managing the low-protein diet
The event is for parents, relatives and caregivers of children from birth to age 5 who need a low-protein diet.
The cost is $5 per adult.
