Mental Resilience Fair and Free Backpack Giveaway in Hanover Park

A free family-focused event featuring mental resilience resources, medical screenings, information about community services and more

The Centro de Información in Hanover Park will host the “Mental Resilience Fair and Free Backpack Giveaway” on July 31 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The fair will feature:

• Mental resilience resources
• Medical screenings
• Community services for families
• The Poplar Creek Mobile Library

The first 140 youth will receive free backpacks.

Families can also stay for the movie-in-the-park event featuring “A Minecraft Movie” at 8 p.m.

The event and movie are free and open to the community.
