Low Vision Technology Fair in Springfield

Learn about resources providing support for people with vision loss at this free technology fair

The Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP)  and the Mary Bryant Home for the Blind and Visually Impaired will host their “Low Vision Technology Fair” on June 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Christ the King Parish Hall in Springfield.

The Low Vision Technology Fair is for anyone with any type of vision loss. Learn about community resources and devices that can help you maintain your independence.

Individuals with vision loss, their friends and family members can:

• Explore vendor booths
• Learn from medical experts
• Connect with social service agencies
• Find information and resources

The event is free and open to anyone who wants to learn more about vision and the resources to support people with low vision.
