In-Person Support Group Meeting for Families of Young Children with Disabilities in Freeburg
A monthly opportunity for families of young children with disabilities to find support, encouragement and learn from one another
STAR NET Region IV will host an in-person support group meeting on Jan. 22 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Freeburg Township Center. Registration is from 5:30 to 6 p.m.

Bring your questions and join presenter Deborah Jones for a brief overview of PUNS ( Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services) and more.
The meeting will also provide a welcoming environment for families of young children with disabilities to explore:
- Finding support
- Building friendships
- Learning about resources
Deborah has worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities for over 50 years in a variety of areas, including Direct Support Person (DSP), Coordinator at a Community Day Program, Individual Service Coordinator (ISC) and Intake /PUNS Assistance.

In-person and virtual Support Group Meetings for Families of Young Children with Disabilities are held monthly. The next meeting will be virtual on Feb. 26 from 6 to 7 p.m.
