Illinois Wheelchair Track Camp in Urbana-Champaign

A wheelchair track camp for beginners and/or athletes ages 12 to 19 who want to develop their skills.

Join the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Wheelchair Athletics Program for its 2025 Illinois Track Camp from June 28 to July 1. Check-in is on June 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. Check-out is on July 1 at 8 a.m.

This camp is for beginners and/or athletes who want to fine-tune their foundational track skills. U of I coaching staff and student-athletes will provide hands-on instruction and a great experience for developing athletes ages 12 to 19.

Participants must be physically and mentally prepared to train indoors and outdoors for the eight hours of daily training this type of camp presents. Campers should also be independent with all activities of daily living and mobility. Each athlete is expected to provide their own track chair for the duration of camp.

Attendees will stay in the university dorms. Camp organizers recommend that campers use a manual day chair to move between the track and the dorm.

The cost is $350 per participant.
